ERC Starting Grants support up-and-coming researchers to establish their own independent research team and conduct pioneering frontier research in Europe. Any field of research is eligible.
Who can apply
Open to researchers of any nationality who completed their PhD 2–7 years before the application deadline and are working at or moving to a host institution in an EU member state or associated country. All fields of research are eligible. Deadline is typically October.
